Scholarships for Women

The MASA Healthcare Foundation, a non-for profit division of MASA Healthcare Co. USA, announces its commitment to offer scholarships for women in Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and UAE. MASA Healthcare Foundation scholarships are awarded to women who join MASA Healthcare seminars in healthcare services and healthcare administration at the graduate level in their home country. The selected candidates should demonstrate an outstanding involvement in healthcare administration in their home country. The interested candidates should also demonstrate community involvement in healthcare services in their home country. MASA Healthcare Foundation scholarships offer one seat from each of MASA Healthcare seminars and training programs for a one outstanding candidate in each country.

Requirements:

  1. Offered only for women
  2. Must be a citizen of Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, or UAE
  3. Minimum Master’s degree from a Public University in the following fields: Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Healthcare Administration.
  4. Minimum of five (5) years professional work experience in healthcare services
  5. Previous community involvement or volunteer work experience in healthcare services

Each candidate should select the seminar(s) that meet her professional growth from MASA Healthcare offered seminars. The list of all the offered seminars for 2010 includes:

  • Physical Therapy Clinical Applications & Case Studies (PT)
  • Mobilization Techniques in Physical Therapy (PT)
  • US Board Exam Preparation in Physical Therapy (PT)

Selection:

Each selected candidate will be notified within 30 days prior to the start date of the chosen seminar(s). A letter of the award will be mailed to the candidate’s mailing address. Selected candidate may not apply for more than one scholarship seminar in twelve (12) months period. Each candidate is eligible for only one scholarship seminar in twelve (12) months period.
